I do not see the point of these post. Absorb is great but no self respecting Nyx player is literally going to boost duration that long and gimp their chaos. Absorb is a nice shield but chaos as we all know is the real reason Nyx can be broken. Infinite scaling skills are infinite scaling skills. Not everyone wants to be a nuker who goes over most of the content spamming one button for huge numbers. Loki, Vauban, Nyx, Hydroid and Rhino (to a degree obviously) have infinitely scaling skills that just get better the higher the level of the enemy.

The funny thing is if you build an absorb build with that type of duration your basically making your Nyx useless as most players even into the stupid high levels will drop all the mobs in the area long before the cast is done. If you really wanted to something with absorb try lowering the duration and adding Castanas into the build. Even then Chaos is just way more useful.That is really the point I tried to make earlier, this type of build will only work with this tactic. It is by far not the best sort of Nyx build, hell, none of us were even running chaos.
