Low Audio Device Volume
Installed Windows 10 Upgrade (Build 10240). Both my Edifier R18 speakers and Genius comm microphone headphones now have just minimal volume, when completely cranked up by hardware volume control you are able to hear a very faint sound with software sound control at 100%.My notebook is a 64bit Acer Aspire V5-571G which has only one audio output which is faulty, so both the speakers and the headphones are connected as USB devices through USB audio adapters (one is Nisuta and the other one Seisa). I had unsuccessfully tried the Playing Audio troubleshooter before I posted my question, but I had tried it only for my USB speakers and headphones. Jessen P., Microsoft Support Engineer told me to use this troubleshooter so I tried it in order for all playback devices, that is, besides from those USB devices, also for the paired Bluetooth device and the internal speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio).
The sound coming out of the speakers is very, VERY low. It does so since I updated to Windows 10 and then resetted to factory status via windows 10. So low that you can hear it only if there's no other sounds and really concentrate on hearing it. I tested, and it's not white audio, it's really the right sound.
Well, this brought success. I still have no access to 24-bit audio, but now both my USB speakers and headphones are working. Thank you, Jessen P.
I tried everyting that the troubleshoot says but my volume is still too low. I can't barely heard a thing when I watch an animate or a movie. And when I am playing a game, I even can't heard nothing. I turn my volume to 14 and I can't heard nothing, while14 suppose to be large enough. While middle of watching something I turn the volume to 14 and then all the sudden it is loud enough but when I adjust it to 15, I can't heard anything? What is wrong with my audio?
Intel Sst Audio Device Low Volume
It is already up to date and it still causesproblems.How to fix low audio device volume? I turn off all the sound effects and it still is not fix. How come the troubleshooter does not automatic fix this problem? Who can tell me how to fix this problem?!!!
